forest light
Dense is the forest,
Thick is the fog,
Dark is the sky.
The little torch flickers in the wind.
Twilight seems to go on forever.
Onward I must press.
Then upon the horizon, light can faintly be seen.
But the forest is thick,
And only a few rays of light can shine threw.
As I press on, more rays appear.
All at once, a large puddle of light is seen on the ground.
I run and jump in the light.
It fills my body with hope.
I want to stay here forever,
But I know I cannot.
As I press on, I am filled with light,
And the air is filled with these words "I CAN".
